Market Fresh Ltd provides hot food and drink solutions to leading supermarket outlets and petrol forecourts throughout the UK. As a rapidly growing company, they sought a vehicle tracking solution to ensure that their mobile workforce could maximise their efficiency and thus meet their required contact targets.

When Pregem Mobile was approached by Market Fresh, a meeting was quickly arranged at the customer’s premises to gain a full insight into their business and methods of operation. Establishing their specific requirements and expectations was of key importance for us to ensure that our vehicle tracking solution was able to bring the benefits they sought and that it satisfied all their needs. Whilst any business will benefit from our tracking system, potential cost reductions at Market Fresh were significant with each employee doing in excess of 2000 miles per month visiting over 40 stores. Any business that has vehicles travelling these types of distances are well within the range of achieving benefits from the operational efficiencies and cost reductions that our vehicle tracking solution can bring.

Onsite training was provided at Market Fresh for both their office staff and drivers. We believe   this is the key to ensure that our customers are able to get the most benefit from their tracking system and ensure their staff can confidently use the system from day one.

Up until the introduction of the vehicle tracking system, Market Fresh drivers were required to complete mileage claim forms and time sheets which would than need to be checked by office staff before being approved for payment. Market Fresh now uses the vehicle tracking system that generates their mileage reports and time sheets. As a result the whole process has been speeded up, claims are always in on time and Market Fresh has seen a significant reduction in mileage claimed and time sheet costs.

Employees are assigned their personal contact targets to ensure they visit all customers within their region regularly. Pregem Mobile set up over 300 POIs (Points Of Interest) for their tracking application which allows Market Fresh to easily review which stores are visited, when they are visited and therefore just how efficiently their mobile workers are managing their day.

A POI is a specific point/location fixed on the map within the application. When a vehicle enters within a predefined radius of that POI the system will provide a name to that location as well as the address.

Market Fresh use the vehicle tracking application to access Daily Visit reports which list sites and locations that have been visited within the selected date range. The information from these reports can also be exported to Microsoft Excel for further data analysis.

Market Fresh sought a return on their investment from the tracking system as quickly as possible and therefore decided to choose the monthly payment option. Pregem Mobile tracking is self funding and therefore by selecting monthly payments Market Fresh have been able to realise cost savings almost immediately whilst at the same time avoiding any capital expenditure.
