Pregem Mobile’s tracking system including many features that help businesses to manage their fleet in real time. The majority of the real time functionality is centred on the in application ‘virtual map’ which makes identifying the locations of vehicles fast and easy.

Real time mapping primarily displays the live locations of vehicles within a fleet. The map allows users to zoom out to view their entire fleet, or zoom in to a group of vehicles, or even as far as street level to view a specific vehicle. A user is able to hover the cursor of their ‘mouse’ over any of the vehicles to obtain more information, if a vehicle is moving this data will include vehicle registration, driver name, time of last report, vehicle speed, direction of travel and the address of its current location. If a vehicle is parked, hovering over the vehicle will display vehicle registration, driver name, address and how long it has been parked for.

In addition, the real time map is also able to calculate the distances of each vehicle (as the ‘crow flies’) from a location specified by the user. This helps users to determine which vehicle is ideally suited to attend a job and can save office workers a lot of time on the phone to customers.
